Aberdeen Golf Links ProAm 2020 from 29 April to 01 May

The "Aberdeen Golf Links ProAm" offers a unique opportunity for golf professionals and amateurs. From 29 April to 01 May, 2020 teams consisting of one professional and three amateurs can play three competitive rounds on three of the world's best links championship courses: Royal Aberdeen, Trump International and Cruden Bay. Located in the spectacular dunes of the Scottish north east coast these traditional links courses – all ranked among the top 100 in the world - form the perfect stage for wonderful three days of golf and a lifetime of great memories. Entrance fee per team is £ 2400. Included are one tournament round on each of the three courses, a banquet dinner and prize giving with a celebrity speaker at The Marcliffe Hotel, Aberdeen's only five star hotel. 

The "Aberdeen Links ProAm" is sanctioned by the PGA of Scotland and organized by Bonnie Wee Golf, an established golf tour operator and incoming agent from Aberdeen. The total estimated prize money is £ 40,000. As usual there will be an individual stroke play competition for professionals and prize money for the professionals of the top three teams. The two best amateur stableford scores on each hole will count for the team competition. A maximum of 78 teams can participate, minimum handicap for amateurs is 24 for women and 18 for men. There is no individual competition for amateurs, but members of the top teams will get golf gear from the pro shops of the participating clubs. Furthermore there are nine "nearest to the pin" competitions for amateurs only.

There are nonstop flights available to Aberdeen International Airport from many European cities or via hubs like Amsterdam, Paris or London. Edinburgh Airport (nonstop flights from most European airports) same as Inverness Airport are about a 2:20 hour drive from Aberdeen, Glasgow Airport about three hours.

Bonnie Wee Golf has secured special rates in hotels of all categories in and around Aberdeen reaching from £ 75 to £ 180 for single and double occupancy at The Marcliffe Hotel, The Chester Hotel, Malmaison Hotel, The Atholl Hotel and The Dutch Mill Hotel.
