Follow The Footsteps Of The Best In The World Ayrshire Golf Passes
From July 11 through 17 the focus of the golfing world will turn to one of the spectacular links courses of Ayrshire. The Royal Troon Golf Club on the southwest coast of Scotland will be hosting „The 145th Open Championship“, better known in the rest of the world as British Open. The oldest and most prestigious golf tournament will return to an area where modern tournament golf was born. On October 17 in 1860 the first Open took place at Prestwick Golf Club, just a few miles south of Troon. Prestwick is no longer on the rota of the nine links courses which stage the Open but still is on the list of every golf connoisseur’s must play list. Since Ayrshire boasts many more great links courses right on the coastline of the Irish Sea other clubs stepped in. The Ailsa Course of Turnberry was the site of four Opens, the last one in 2004. Royal Troon Golf Club staged the Open eight times, the last time in 2004.

W piątek, 29 stycznia w butikowym hotelu Mamaison Hotel Le Regina odbyło się Zakończenie Sezonu Golfowego 2015. W towarzyskiej atmosferze można było porozmawiać o nadchodzącym sezonie golfowym, spotkać znajomych, którzy przyjechali na ten wieczór z odległych zakątków kraju.

W sobotę 10 października 2015 na polu Sobienie Królewskie odbył się turniej PGA Polska Junior Academy, wieńczący program pod tym samym tytułem, który organizowany był w kilkunastu klubach w Polsce.
